Is there a good e-mail program that does both e-mail and NG's (I currently use Thunderbird on my Win XP machine (now) there is a Mac version (e-mail, Newsgroups & RSS) should I stick with Thunderbird ?
(also lets me select top or bottom post, very important to me)

As has been mentioned before, which program you use is a matter of taste and preference so if you like Thunderbird and are comfortable with it then stick with it. If you want to try something else then that's fine too. It makes little difference which program you use as they all do much the same thing in a very similar way. A quick search on the Internet for e-mail and newsgroup readers will reveal plenty of alternatives which you can freely download and try.
