For a relative newbie, bear with some "stupid" questions....

How much does Virtual PC 7 cost? (The quick Amazon check got $108.00 for
just VPC7, $195.00 for VPC7 w/ XP Home, and $230.00 for VPC7 w/ XP Pro.)

This gets you a machine that simulates to the equivalent of PII 266MHz.

You may need to upgrade your memory in order to run it at even that speed.

Why do people buy this software? Seriously, isn't it just easier to get
a cheap PC. PC's can be pretty cheap; not as cheap as $195.00, but not
too expensive either. But for $350, you can get a Dell PC with a 2.4GHz
Celeron, 512MB ram, and 40 Gig HD.

I mean if you're gonna drop down $200; don't you can TONS more for $350?
Getting rid of the monitor on it drops it down to $300.....

So what is the advantage of Virtual PC then? I'm not trolling, I
actually want to know why people buy it. I even compared it to Dell,
I'm sure you can drop that price lower with a lesser brand PC.
