If you have access to full OSX install CDs (rather than the software restore
CDs) of Panther or Jaguar (Can't remember if this works for 10 or 10.1) then
one of the options on install is archive and reinstall. This can also allow
you to keep your present settings (users and files etc) and will archive
your old system so that if you have missed any settings they are still
somewhere that you can get hold of them.
