On my G5 I just installed Windows 98 and some specialized software that I
need on my PowerBook. After the install I went to apply the Virtual PC
Additions and I get a dialog box asking for the location of the ISO. It
never did this in the past it just loaded the ISO and away we went. I did a
quick search on my G5 and could not find it. So I copied the virtual
machine over to the Powerbook and decided to add the Additions there. I get
the same results that it wants the location of the ISO. I figured that my
G5 Virtual PC may have gotten corrupted but not the Powerbook at the same
time. What am I missing here and where is the Virtual Machine Additions ISO
located at?
IIRC, the VPC Additions are on a separate Windows partition on your VPC installer disk. When asked to install the Additions just insert your VPC software disk and allow Windows to connect to your CD drive.
Hope this helps!
