When shutting down do not select "Save PC State" instead select "Turn Off
PC". This in effect is like puling the power cord on a real PC.

I run VPC 7.02 on a PowerPC iMac 1.6 mz., running OSX 10.4. I just
use VPC to run Quicken Delux 05. That's where the problem began....
I started up Quicken this morning, and for some reason, it got hung up
on the opening screen. No problem, I thought, so I went to the Windows
task manager and tried to end Quicken.
Nothing happened.
Time for plan B: I tried to shutdown/restart Windows within VPC. That
worked only to a point. Windows started the shutdown process, but now
it appears to have gotten hung up, too, half-way through the process,
with the Windows taskbar unavailable. Hitting control-alt-delete does
nothing either.
Any idea what I can do? I tried saving and restarting VPC, but that
only saved the stalled Windows shut down. I don't want to reinstall
Windows in VPC and really need to save my Quicken data.
Many thanks for your help
