Why would you want to emulate x86 if you don't have to? , i.e. I would
rather virtualize on an Intel Mac.
Yes, on a PPC Mac, QEMU is an alternative to VPC, but IMO, VPC is much
more polished.
There are a few different shareware / freeware PC emulators for the
Mac, but they're all more difficult to set-up then Virtual PC becuase
they're created by "geeks" for "geeks" so require playing with all
sorts of settings. They also tend to be less compatible than Virtual
PC, but can be marginally faster.
