thank you for your quick responce.
i am sad to find this , as i was looking forward to playin some of my
PC games whilst i am on holiday , but as you saID the only way to do
so is to own a intel AND have a copy of xp to run on bootty camp (sad
that it took them so long to do somthing as simple as this

Nope, you're dreaming. It was rumoured to be in Virtual PC 7 and then
8, but since it's now a dead product, there is NO version of Virtual PC
can provide hardware 3D graphics acceleration support (although there
was an old version that could be tweaked to some degree of success).

At the moment the only way to get such 3D graphics support for Windows
applications on the Mac is to use Apple's Boot Camp on an Intel-based
Mac. Parallels Desktop (which is similar to VirtualPC and also for
Intel-based Macs) is working on 3D graphics support for the next
version.
