Re: VPC lost internet connectivity

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

Good answers! I'm in the right place.

Domain names do not resolve. I haven't tried pinging by address. I'll try
that tonight.

Explorer just gives the server not found screen.

Blew my free call on the MTU issue with my ISP months ago. They went right
to the problem. That one was pretty subtle, too. You had access, but
couldn't update windows. (Good catch!)

The reason I was surprised about the firewall sharing is that the MS
Knowledge base said to go there and turn it on. Good to know this behaviour
isn't something new.

Which brings us back to....

Anyone else having this problem? Any ideas?
