airport option missing from VPC 7.2 Select Ethernet Adapter list

i am trying to join my school's domain so i need to use VPC 7 to join
in a domain so i followed the steps in Microsoft knowledge based ID
824440 -You Cannot Log On to a Domain or Connect to a Network from a
Windows-Based Virtual Machine:
the instructions are as follows:
Use Virtual Switch
To use Virtual Switch with your Windows-based virtual machine, follow
these steps: 1. Start Virtual PC.
2. On the Virtual PC List, click the virtual machine that you want to
configure.
3. Click Settings.
4. Click Networking.
5. Click to select the Enable networking check box.
6. Click Virtual Switch.
7. Click OK.
8. On the Virtual PC menu, click Preferences.
9. Click Virtual Switch.
10. Click one of the following options in the Select Ethernet Adapter
list:
· (Default)
· Built-in Ethernet
· Ethernet Slot
· AirPort
11. Click OK.
but 10. there is suppose to be an option airport under the select
ethernet adapter list. i only have 2 options, Built-in Ethernet and
Ethernet Slot but airport is not present. my ibook has built in airport
and when doing this airport is turned on, and i tried turning on and
off but VPC still do not detect my airport. without this according to
my school's network adminiatrator, i can't connect to the VPN and the
school's network.
can any one help me on this?
i am currently using ibook G4 1.33GHz with 1GB ram and built in airport
and bluetooth, operating on OSX 10.4.2
VPC is in Version 7.2 and i have updated the necessary soft ware
