Go to Network Connections.
Does the local area connection say 'connected'?
Can you ping an outside source?
Try ping 4.2.2.2
If you get 4 replies, try ping www.yahoo.com
It could be a DNS error
If you get 4 replies with the www address, it could be MTU settings
Try ping -f -l 1500 192.168.131.254 (using Shared Networking, of
course)
Does it say 'Packet needs to be fragmented but DF set'?
