VPC will never be perfect, just like OS X will never be perfect. They
are complex pieces of software that continually evolve.

have you posted the problems here or contacted MS support? That is
your first step. Many common issues are discussed here, as well as
work-arounds and alternatives.

If you found, or think you've found a bug, you should contact MS
support, they log all bugs and report them to the developers.
Developers that have public email addresses would get very little
deveopling done, since they'd get so much spammed email from every VPC
user who needed to speak directly to the developer.
