Moved the VPC folder and now it's all gone wrong..

I moved the folder Virtual PC containing items 'Windows 2000.vpc6' and
'Previous Virtual PC 6' from Applications to a different folder. For a while
everything was okay, but after a while when I tried to open any folders,
files, etc. by clicking the desktop icons nothing happened - the icons were
frozen. Trying to open folders/documents by going to the start menu didn't
help either. Windows Explorer and My Computer also did not open.

I then went to Home>Library>Preferences and removed the file
'com.microsoft.VirtualPC.plist', and also the 'Preferences.vpf' file I found
in the Virtual PC 6.0 Preferences sub-folder, but that just made VPC start
up as though I was doing a new install. I then put the Preference files
back, but it still wants to start up as though it's a new install ..

I don't mind hqving to reinstall VPC if necessary (?) but I am worried I
have lost all my VPC documents :-( -but they are there somewhere as I did
not delete them.

Am running VPC6 with Windows 2000 under OSX 10.3.5. Thanks for any help -
Ben
