Mike,

Try the following...
On your Mac side, fire up a Terminal window and type "lookupd -flushcache"
(without the quotes obviously).

On your VPC side, fire up a command-line window (Click Start, Run, type
"cmd", click OK) and type in "ipconfig /flushdns"

See if that has any impact on your problem.
