I would be cautious about relying on VPC in an intensive network
environment - I only use it to run standalone "legacy" software. But
then others seem to be using VPC for networking without problems.

You will have similar stability to any Windows system (!!). The
advantage of OS X is that VPC/Windows can (does) crash but the rest of
the programs running in OS X are unaffected.

The Apple development tools are so powerful that, hopefully, many good
Windows applications will eventually be available on OS X - but dont
hold your breath.

I am just starting to research mySQL - a powerful relational database
engine that comes with OS X. I am hoping, eventually, to eliminate my
need to still use MS Access within VPC.
