I have experienced the same issue and resolved it
This may not be a fix for everyone but possibly some people
If you are running antivirus software on your Mac like Norton for example
When you close the vm it then scans the file bit by bit while saving so it
causes huge lag on doing the quick save
Just thought I would throw this our there could be a fix for some people
If you have an antivirus program and want to test it close down your windows
os completely so it is not running, do not leave it in a saved state then
close vpc and disable your auto protect. Relaunch vpc and try a quick save
again to see if this helps
