I would have to test this to be certain, but from a technical stand point
I don't believe there should be a problem shutting down the guest OS in
a Saved-State or, possibly, even enabling Undo Drive.

When shutting down choosing "Save PC State", the RAM image map
is stored inside the VPC6 package file (the "SavedState.vsv" file). The
same is true of the "UndoDrive1.vud" file, which holds the temporary disk
changes. That is the nice thing about the *.VPC6 package introduced
in version 6, everything is stored in one file (well folder, but to the user
it's just one large data file).

If you're logging out of one user, and into the other, there should be no
issue. Now, if two users were to access the disk image at the same time,
then there would be a problem (though we're talking about a single
machine, one user at a time scenario).

I'll do some experimenting tomorrow. At worst, a corrupted Saved State
and having to purge it is about the equivalent to suffering a power-failure
(or choosing the "Turn Off PC" option). The only data loss would be what
you happened to be working on or have open at the time you put the
emulated Windows in a hiberation/suspend mode.
