    This endless reboot of Windows under VPC problem happened to me after
    installing the recent Windows 2000 update. I called Microsoft, and
    they suggested rebooting my Mac computer (the host computer, not VPC).
     To my surprise, and that of the Microsoft tech on the phone, this
    cured the problem. It seems unusual that an update of the emulated
    operating system could somehow affect VPC itself, but apparently that
    is what is happening. A reboot of Mac OS X may fix your problem as
    well.
