Have you checked the VPC help? I believe it explains what you do
there.
Shared Folders is a VPC mechanism that lets you connect your Windows
VM to Mac drives or folders and access them like you would a network
share in Windows via a drive letter.
Windows can't put data on a network by itself, regardless if you're
using VPC Shared Folders, or the sharing in Windows, you've still got
to set it up, and if you're using network sharing in Windows, you'll
need to supply a password.
