Forgive me for asking a question that may have already been answered.
I am using VPC 6.1 with Windows XP Professional and need to move files
back and forth between the WinXP session and my Mac OS X 10.2.8 host
system. Thus far, I have been using "drag-n-drop", but wanted to start
using Shared Folders instead. What is the mechanism that Shared
Folders uses? Is this a VPC-internal mechanism, or is the WinXP system
actually putting data onto the network to access the host OS?

Probably a stupid question, but I'm very security-conscious and I want
to make sure this won't cause any problems.

Thanks in advance for your help.
