Hi Trink!

server) but authentication isn't working. Correct?
Since you're getting a name/password error message, then name resolution
is working for you, which means DNS issues are probably out of the
question.
Do you know how the level of authentication is set on the server for Mac
clients to be able to connect? Do you allow only Microsoft
authentication or do you allow clear text as well?
If you only allow Microsoft authentication then you'll need to download
and install the Microsoft UAM from Microsoft's website
<http://www.microsoft.com/mac/otherproducts/otherproducts.aspx?pid=window
s2000sfm>.
