It sholdn't say 12.0.1 though. It should go straight to 12.1.0.....
so I say no problem but this is the 3rd time and when I get
to the finish installation with less than a minute remaining the thing
freezes. It doesn't actually freeze as much as it just never finishes.
Anybody know about this? I read all the previous posts about upgrading,
this doesn't have a problem with finding it on the volume. I am always
concerned when I am putting a Microsoft product on my Mac.
Try redownloading the updater through the Microsift site directly:
<http://www.mactopia.com/>
You'll need the 12.1.0 updater, then the 12.1.1 one and that's it.
If it fails again, uninstall then reinstall Office, repair Permissions
through Disk Utiility and reboot. Then install the udpaters.
