I just purchased my Mac - so I haven't purchased 2004, however I have it on my

$10 upgrade?

What you have on your new Mac is the Test Drive version of Office 2004. It
cannot be registered or upgraded. It's also a PITB to get rid of. Use
"Remove Office" found in the Additional Tools folder in Office 2004. Do not
just drag it to the trash unless you have not used it even once. Better be
save and use "Remove Office".

If anyone knows the most thrifty route, please let me know. I am in the
military and a student on a budget!

Buy through Amazon for a better price. Home & Student version is around $130
with free shipping.
