Hello,
if I buy the Mac Office 2004 Student & Teacher edition it has all the
stuff I need including Entourage with MS Exchange Server support.
I noticed that the Office 2008 Home & Student edition dosen't have the
MS Exchange Server support, only in the standard edition.
Does this mean that if I upgrade to Office 2008, I will get the Home &
Student edition (without MS Exchange support) or will the upgrade path
cover all the existing features of 2004?
Hi Charles!
If you live in the U.S. or Canada then now is the time to buy Office 2004 Student & Teacher edition because Microsoft has just announced a great upgrade deal.
Have a look at this page <http://www.microsoft.com/mac/go/promotions/supersuitedeal/> on Microsoft's site about their Super Suite Deal.
"When you buy Microsoft Office 2004 for Mac Standard Edition, Office 2004 for Mac Standard Edition Upgrade, or Office 2004 for Mac Student and Teacher Edition, we’ll send you Office 2008 for Mac Special Media Edition (a $500 value) for FREE* - you only pay shipping and handling."
That means you'll get versions of Office 2004 and Office 2008 that support Exchange.
For both products you'll probably pay less than $175.00 total.
Hope this helps!
