No Office Application will open!!!!!

I woke up this morning and tried to open Word, but the icon bounced a
few times and then rested without opening anything.

I then tried opening word files (.docs) and the same thing happened.

I then tried opening excel and powerpoint but the same thing happened.

A Norton Antivirus test of the Microsoft Office folder yielded
nothing, and I'm scanning my whole hard drive now but no other apps
else have been affected.

I borrowed a friend's cd and tried to reinstall it but I still can't
open anything. The window disappeared before I could put in any of the
product key codes, which might have been problematic anyway because
they are different than the ones I had.

I'm a student just starting a new semester and I need my word
processor to work again, what's wrong and how can I fix this?
