Re: MS Office Already in Use?

But none of them have Office installed! My sister's has nothing beyond
the free trial with her computer. I couldn't find the CD when my
Mother got her computer, so I installed an old version with that
version's code. We have no other Macs in the house turned on running
Office.

One of the Macs you are not using still has the Microsoft Office Daemon
running.

I suggest that you use the Remove Office tool from the Office CD on each of
them to FULLY remove the old installation and your problem will go away :-)

So my MS Office keeps getting shut down after about a minute because
I'm apparently using the same product key from multiple computers. I
checked every computer logged in on my network in the house. Currently,
there are 4 computers on the network. One's a Windows, one's a Mac
without Office and one's a Mac with v.X that isn't even using it. But
that's all irrelevant because the computer that it's telling me is
using Office is my own. My laptop is turned off, my old Mac is
unplugged (demon Mac???)... When I unplugged from the network, it
worked just fine. But I'm not online when I do that. As soon as I plug
the network back in, Office shuts down. So what gives?--
