Sorry, as far as I know, there are no easily accessible files which contain
the registration key. There's not much you can do at this stage, except
finding your old registration keys or buying a new copy of Office. If none
of these options are acceptable, you could always make sure not to run
Office at the same time on both computers.

I still have my wife's old PowerBook. I can run Office on that machine

Obviously those other PowerBooks are both using the reg code that
belongs to my copy of Office. Is there any file I can take off of my
wife's old PowerBook and place onto her new one that would make it use
her old reg code? thanks!

permitted by the license agreement" message, and if I had been using it,
she gets it.
The easy solution is probably to go find the original CDs and reinstall
Microsoft Office for each of us. However, those CDs were purchased
two-houses ago. I bet they are still boxed up somewhere, along with old
Zip disks, floppies and other old media that I havent had a need to
locate.
If anyone can tell me where the relevant files live that need to be
moved to restore correct functionality, I would truly appreciate it.
