Hi Andreas,
Are you referring to this situation:
You launch an Office program. You get multiple messages that font
"FontName" is corrupt. You click OK through dozens or hundreds of error
messages and everything runs fine (by which point you are ready to throw the
computer out the window).
If that doesn't describe your problem, please give more detail about what
you mean.
If that *does* describe your problem:
This is a known issue--the exact cause is not known, but it only happens on
Tiger (10.4) and only to *some* people running Tiger. See this recent thread
for the standard things to try:

I believe, from previous discussions, that step 4 may need to be repeated
after a shutdown--somehow the system font caches continue to return to a
corrupt state.

Hello,
Has anyone else experienced major issues with Fonts Corruption with Office
2004. But with all other programs my fonts work 100%. I had this problem
before with Office, it mainly does it when either upgrading the OS 10.4.x or
updating the Office 2004 package. Are there any fix programs that will fix
the fonts for me.
Regards
Andreas
