It does indeed seem unlikely :-( (and I have no idea which mechanism
Word uses though I suspect it could be IC).

or the pref is corrupted... You could try moving some of the prefs to
the desktop and relaunching WOrd to see whether you can get it to work
properly then :-\

The only differnce between this version and the regular one is the
licensing scheme (price and number of computer you can run it on). The
software itself is exactly the same. No reason whatsoever to play around
with this type of setting.
