Thanks Corentin, I'd not heard of the app before so tried it
immediately. Unfortunately ......
What was interesting was that when I started up the pref pane it showed
Eudora 6.2.1 as the default email app already - suggesting perhaps that
the default is set correctly and that Word is ignoring it? So I
selected "another" and "recommended apps" and the pref pane showed
Eudora dimmed, changing to all apps brought it up and I chose it again.
Still no luck.
So I set it to Mail app, and Word still sent the document to Entourage.
I'm beginning to wonder if it wasn't a poor choice I made at Office
install time. Or maybe a corrupted prefs file? I'm hesitant to delete
all my Word / Office prefs as I have just about got it set up the way I
like it with this one exception ....
Do you happpen to know any other apps which use the same mechanism to
send docs to an email client? That would allow me to check the
mechanism as well as the set pref.
Thanks for the ideas ....!
Merl
