Hmm. Check the relevant Help topics and make sure you did everything right:
Set your default e-mail program
What programs are required to send documents in e-mail?
Guessing: maybe you did everything right, but for it to take effect, you
need to quit all programs, including the Database Daemon. Have you logged
in and out since making the change?
