Here, if I try to merge a .docx witht clip art (or with some other types of graphic), the image does not appear in the output and Word hangs.

If I save the mail merge main document in the older Word 97-2004 .doc format, re-open and insert the clip art, then the merge works OK (I don't know exactly what steps are required).

I have created a form letter that contains clip art, yet when I try to merge the clip art does not appear?

is there any way that I can create a form letter that will merge correctly with the clip art?
