Mysterious text appears while typing in a Word document

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

This has happened twice here at our school - once to a student and now to a
teacher. She was typing in a Word document and during a pause in her typing,
all of a sudden text started appearing on her screen - one letter at a time.
It appeared to be a URL - www.sh4tterf3y.c601b4sch@xxxxxxxxxxx 1ess5ca-4r-3e
ess5ca. We tried going to that site but nothing comes up. Any ideas??
Virus or spyware??
