Re: Office crashing + won't reinstall

That looks like a missing update.

Since you dragged Office to the trash, you also dragged all the updates to
the trash.

Office 2004 can't run on OS 10.5 without its updates.

Go to the Microsoft site and download update 11.3.5 and run it. Then run
Microsoft Software Update from Help>Check for Updates in any application,
and allow it to suck in the rest of them.

Once you have installed 11.3.11, then see how you go.

My word 2004 started refusing to open= "application has quit unexpectedly"
When all else failed, I tried to run the "remove office" it failed, so i
manually deleted it. I repaired permissions, i even tried setting up a new
