Re:Corrupt Word files via email

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

If you are sending the word doc to a Windows user, make sure the DOC
extension is included in the file name. I've found if I do not select
"Append file extension" when saving it, Windows' Word won't recognise it.
Ask them to rename the corrupted document with the .doc at the end, and see
if that doesn't fix the problem.
