I am new to Word for Mac and did this last night - I am creating
tables in English and Greek. I created a style for the English column
and a style for the Greek column just by assigning the font. The Greek
font includes the placement of breathings. It works great. I don't
change the keyboard myself but when I switch styles the keyboard
appears to switch so that the when I type a key that inserts a
breathing it backspaces and places the breathing over the top of the
letter.

You want multiple defaults, one for each language?.
I think the easiest way to do this is to create two sets of Styles: One for
English, the other for Japanese.

I'm trying to find a way in Office 2008 to set a default font for multiple
languages. In my case, I would like to use one font when typing in English and
a different default when I switch to Japanese. Any suggestions?
