Sorry, it's a bug when you try to use a slash in the envelope dialog box (and some other dialog boxes). Click OK to create the envelope and then add the slash.
Use Help | Send Feedback in Word to complain to MS, if you like, so they can count how many people are inconvenienced by this. The more reports, the higher on the priority list.
