Re: Add text to smartart matrix

Sorry, it is not possible.
Smart Art is designed to be used as a "component", not as the whole thing.
So you can use layered text boxes to add whatever legends you like around
the SmartArt.
You could float a text box over the top of a Smart Art to give the
appearance of a legend "inside" it.
If you do that, don't forget to group all your graphics items together
otherwise they will move around when you change the text.
Hope this helps

Hi,
I would like to use the newt smartart matrix and add legends to the axes
within the smartart. However I haven't been able to find a way to do that! Is
it possible?
I think that a matrix is prett meaningless without a legend...
I hope this is possible but nor the Help provided nor Google have been able to
tell me how to do this.
Thanks
