Damn! I can't remember what causes this...
You say you are at 11.2? OK, download the 11.3.5 Service Pack from the
Microsoft site and run it. That will bring you up to 11.3.5.
I would then go on and apply 11.3.6, 7, 8, and 9 while you are there ? they
have to be done in sequence.
Then you will be fully up-to-date, and I believe you will fix your
AutoUpdate problem along the way.
