I have deleted the printer from the print utility menu and added it
back on. Repaired permissions, reloaded drivers, rebooted numerous
times. I spent the entire day troubleshooting after upgrading to the
new OS X10.4.9 update (which I assume might have caused this issue.)
I have the drivers on the CD that came with my printer and even went
to the manufacturer's website to see if there were any updated drivers
available. I'm still having the same problem. Same error message. I'm
able to print from other programs but now I realize that I cannot
print anything in the Microsoft Office 2004 for Mac (i.e. Excel,
Entourage, and Powerpoint). The temporary fix that I have been using
is uploading my docs to Google Docs & Spreadsheets and printing them
up from there.
