Hi Dennis:
Did you reboot your computer after applying the patch? Several users are
reporting your problem, and I just wonder whether it's worth advising people
to reboot after the patch to make sure the old module is not left hanging
around in memory.
Cheers
No, I didn't reboot immediately after the crash. I did, however, shut
down the computer over the weekend, so it got a fresh restart yesterday
morning. No problems yet, but I still haven't tried cancelling a print
at the dialog box level. Will post the result if I can remember to do
so :)

I ran the update yesterday. Word crashed twice on me today. Each time
was upon cancelling a print job (at the level of the Print dialog
box--I hadn't actually sent it over to the printer yet). Both times
were within a couple minutes (I kept remembering another thing that
needed editing).
I got a little edgy about it after that second crash, so I quit Word
after it restarted (sent the report each time), saved everything I had
been also working on in Excel, and then quit Excel. Restarted both
apps and Word didn't crash again. But I also didn't try to cancel any
print jobs, either...
