Hi Matthew,
I feel that someone proposed a macro way to get the old comments pane back,
but for some reason I decided that wasn't functional after all. I don't
remember the details, see if searching this group brings them up,
Alas not.
What a surprise to find that I saved the code in my Useful Macros folder.
It was discussed on a WinWord group, that's why the search was fruitless.
Anyhow, this is the line of code:
ActiveWindow.View.SplitSpecial = wdPaneComments
That should bring back the old comments pane. I'm sure your comments on how
well this works for you would be appreciated by others.
