Re: Setting a language

Daiya I have yet another question which you or someone else here might
answer. At work we use Office for Windows. The program I use most is
Word. A while ago, my company bought licenses to use Word in other
languages. Recently I had to prepare a document in Spanish. In the
past, when I've had to compose similar documents, I've just written it.
Because it thinks that you're misspelling every single word (it thinks
you're writing in English, only poorly), it gives you the red
underlines. On this document I was composing I decided to tinker with
the Language function. I was surprised that it allowed me to select
the language I was going to type in, but also, because Spanish is
spoken in so many different languages, it allowed me to select the type
of regional (read: country) Spanish I was writing my document in. Not
only that, selecting the language also enabled the spelling, grammar,
and thesaurus functions for the specific language, Spanish. Now, my
question is this, did all these functions become enabled because my
company had bought a language-specific license? Are these functions
available if I buy the Standard license software? Now I know there are
differences between Windows and the Mac versions, but if these
functions are not available with the Standard license, is there another
license (for the Mac) that I can buy in order to enable the full MSWord
Spanish? Thanks. (I hope I made sense.)
