Tech-Archive recommends: Speed Up your PC by fixing your registry

Try SMB in place of AFP.

We have no idea if or when a patch is coming, or whether it is coming from
Apple or Microsoft.

But I think we can safely say that it won't be SOON. A few months, is my
guess.
