Hi Guy,
I havenıt heard about this happening before so there must be some
problem/conflict in your system. I suggest working through the procedures
listed here: <http://word.mvps.org/MacWordNew/TroubleshootingIndex.htm>
(If using Safari, hit Refresh once or twice; or use Internet Explorer for
this site.)
Start with the Damaged Preferences article and the Global Templates &
Add-Ins article, but it could be almost anything.
