Lost my menus!

    I've lost my menus up in the menu bar! The items are still listed there
    (File, Edit, View, etc.) but they don't "pull down" anymore. Just empty. I
    tried reloading the original software for Word and Office, but it didn't
    change anything. Any suggestions?
