Not so. That's because you're using web browser access (Google). If you use
news server access - Entourage or a dedicated newsreader - turnaround is
approximately 2 minutes. Sometimes 1 minute.

In Entourage, click on the Microsoft News Server icon in the Folder List
(near the bottom). In the main pane at the right, you'll see all the
newsgroups - if first asked whether to download the newsgroup names, click
Yes. In the filter box at top right, enter "mac.office". Select
(command-click) this newsgroup and any of the others, then click the
Subscribe button. Now you'll find those newsgroups listed under the news
server in the Folder List. Click on this one, and there you are.

Clicking New button or press cmd-N gets you a news message already addressed
to this newsgroup. Write your message, click Post Now, and return in 2
minutes (or press cmd-L to refresh the list if still in the same newsgroup),
and you'll see your question appear, as will everyone else accessing by
newsreader, Within an hour or so you may already see answers.
