No. It has no way of making sense of what you are doing; you are lucky
you get any character at all. You are doing something you should not be
allowed to do: you are typing a character in a font that does not
contain that character. So ATSUI is doing something very nice in that it
looks for a font that *does* contain that character. - You could try
disabling fonts you would rather it didn't choose! But apart from this,
as I said before, the best solution is to start with a font that does
contain the desired characters. If you don't like that idea, you can
easily fix the problem afterwards with a macro (e.g. find all instances
of such-and-such a character in such-and-such a font, change them to
DoulosIPA, do it again with the next character, and so on). m.
