The problem is that ATSUI doesn't properly support rigt-to-left. This also
affect other applcaitions relying on ATSUI like Nisus Write. Mellel went
around the problem from the ground up and build the right-to-left support in
(I would guess without using ATSUI, but I really have no idea).
Option 1: Apple implements proper right-to-left in ATSUI and a fix will come
rapidely to Office
Option 2: MS implements its own version of Unicode support engine in Office
to have right-to-left. This would take quite some time IMVHO. Especially
since ATSUI does more than just support Unicode, it also uses Quartz and uses
Font data such as ligature (which I believe is critical for proper Arabic
support).
