Hit apple-F and run a search for "Microsoft Word" (without quotes) on your
machine. Look for an entry where Kind="application program." It doesn't
just vanish by itself. Unless you deleted it, it is still there. Perhaps
you had icons for it on your desktop that are gone, but those should have
just been shortcuts/aliases, not the actual program.
