Well, when I used it the other day it left my text Normal style. I'm not
regularly on X, but here's a test. See if Clear Formatting removes manually
applied character formatting (bold, italic, etc). Applying Normal style
*doesn't* remove such. Also test the command on text that is *not* in
Normal style and see what happens.
